 Welcome to
a unique RV, tent camping and adventure facility located at the foot
of Mount 7 on the western banks of the Columbia River.
What makes us unique?
Well, for starters our facility is large and spacious - over 400 acres
of open meadows, native forest and wetland areas. This means that you won't feel
like you are camping in a cramped and crowded sub-division. Also in 2007 we
added a unique camping experience with our yurts. The addition of yurts and the Events Pavilion is representative
of our continuous commitment to making the camping experience at our
facility as complete and special as possible.
Just a short distance south of the town of Golden British Columbia, The Golden Eco-Adventure
Ranch is situated on an old farming site in the small community of Nicholson.
It borders on the banks of the Columbia River just 150 kilometers downstream
from the source of this internationally important water resource and historic
travel route between Canada and the west coast of the United States.
- We are surrounded by The Rocky Mountains and several National & Provincial
Parks.
- We are central to any number of outdoor adventure pursuits as well as golf,
skiing, sightseeing, wildlife viewing and amazing bird life in the Columbia
wetlands.
- We operate a paragliding and hang gliding flight park on site at the foot
of a range of mountains that is internationally known in the paragliding and
hang gliding communities for world-class cross-country flying.
 Our camping
facilities handle all types of camping from walk-in tenting to
30 and 50
amp servicing for large RVs and trailers. We have back-in and
pull-through sites.
All the latest camping amenities are available including on-site lockers for traveling adventurers
using
our campground as a base for extended explorations of the Columbia Valley wetlands and
the surrounding Rocky
Mountains.

Pet Policy:
Non-aggressive pets are welcome for a charge of $5.00 per animal per day.
Maximum of 2 pets per site. Pets must be leashed and cleaned up after. |
Each campsite contains a picnic table and a
fire pit.
Firewood can be purchased at the Office at $5.00 per bundle. Fires
are only allowed in the designated fire pits. Fires are NOT ALLOWED
under any circumstances when Provincial Fire Bans are in effect - no
exceptions. |

**Yurts - Specific Policies -
Minimum two night booking In July and August.
Parking: One Vehicle on Site. Only one vehicle is included in the fee.
Domestic Animals (pets) are NOT permitted in the Yurts. Smoking is
prohibited. Cooking in the yurts is not permitted.

Reservation /Payment Policy:
Charges will be put through to a credit card
at the time of booking for
all reservations.

ONLINE BOOKING WHEN THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE
EXCEEDS THE PER SITE MAXIMUM:
If booking several campsites on behalf of groups
exceeding
4 adults per each tent
site or 6 adults per each RV site,

where you can be contacted to discuss your needs & applicable prices.
(In such cases, using the online booking screens
will require that you complete multiple
bookings by breaking down the number of people per booking
to conform with each campsite's occupancy maximums.)

Cancellation Policy:
Reservation cancellations must be made 7 days in
advance
and will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee plus applicable tax.
Any cancellations within 7 days of booked arrival will not be refunded.
