Note:
What does the development of the Golden Eco-Adventure Ranch
mean for the hang gliding and paragliding community?
The establishment of a world class flight park within the boundaries of the
Golden Eco-Adventure Ranch means that a secure and hospitable
landing zone will be available for flight activities originating from Mount
Seven.
- Liability issues make it mandatory for
all pilots landing at the Golden Eco-Adventure Ranch to be current members of
Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association of Canada which includes third party
liability insurance group coverage. Foreign group insurance plans may also be
acceptable subject to coverage extending to flight activities in Canada.
- Only those hang gliding and paragliding pilots with a certified tandem
pilot’s rating and associated insurance will be permitted to land with their
clients at the Golden Eco-Adventure Ranch. This condition also extends to any
pilots landing tandem passengers in a purely recreational, non-commercial mode.
- All pilots wishing to land or ground handle at the Ranch must register
with the owner/operators of the Ranch and must provide proof of
qualifications and insurance as well as a signed waiver. Pilot information in
this regard will be kept on file at the Ranch for use in verifying a given
user's registration status with the Ranch.
- Please note that any pilot landing or ground handling at The Golden
Eco-Adventure Ranch without a current registration in good order will be
considered to be trespassing on private property.
